How to reach TLCI Chandigarh?
1. Where is TLCI Chandigarh?
TLCI Chandigarh is located in the institutional hub of the city and Union Territory of Chandigarh and is well connected to other parts of country by road, rail and air. The Institute is located in Sector 34A of the city, about 8 km from the railway station and 12 km from the airport; it takes approximately 20 minutes and 30 mins to drive from railway station and airport to the Institute, respectively.
2. How to reach the Institute?
From Bus Stand to Institute:
City Chandigarh is well connected from all the parts of country. One can reach the city via buses and trains. From Delhi, it takes around 6 hours via bus, and reach Sector-17 bus stand. In case from northern parts of the country, as Punjab, J&K or Himachal Pradesh, one should reach Sector-43 bus stand of the city.
From Sector-17 bus stand, it is just 2.8 km and it takes only 8 minutes to reach via any auto-rickshaw or a city bus.
From Sector-43 bus stand, the Institute is 3.5 km and takes about 10 minutes via city bus, a cab or an auto-rickshaw.
From Airport to Institute:
A personal cab is always the best option to reach the Institute from airport.
From Railway Station to Institute:
At the Chandigarh railway station, walk for just 2 minutes straight and you will be able to see the city bus stop where you will find buses to almost every part and outskirt parts of the city. The driver/conductor should be asked before riding the bus. Nearby bus stop to the Institute is Sector-34 and Sector-35 of the city.
